Looks like the donor vehicle was a late 80's LTD Crown Vic, Grand Marquis or Town Car. Intake manifold points to the left on them and the accessory drive is specific to those. Seems like atleast the steering column, the trans crossmember and the previous fuel tank were also out of the same car.

Isn't urethane fantastic. "Fits where it touches" joints in a tube. Standard cellulose thiners will fetch it off your fingers if you don't let it dry. Also, I find gloves don't work like wet fingers do.

Brent, my experience with caulking guns? The tube contents went hard, I pulled the trigger lever and bent it all the way back. Anyways, I'm glad the windows are in!!! This build is coming along great!!

That's not bad at all $100 buck's per custom glass to get cut. I'm guessing that's for flat glass. Maybe a curved front windshield is much more. That truck is going to be a show stopper I don't care what anyone says every section on that truck has been changed or modified. If no one seen the video they are going to do the walk around the truck.

Hi Brent I hope this comment finds you and the little lady doing very well. As for keeping your urethane fresh and being able to use it over and over and over again I've had a lot of luck with the tip that you cut off of the tube,turn it around and insert back in. Then take a piece of tin foil and wrap the whole tip. I've been using urethane a long time and it has never failed for me.😊 actually at Harbor Freight they make an insert that screws right into the tube which actually works pretty well but I've always stuck with what I know. Anyways I just wanted to let you know I'm still watching and I hope that y'all are doing just fine.

Don't if you have ever used one a pneumatic caulk gun, but they work great for controlling thick compounds like what you are using.

Mineral spirits cleans up urethane that is not dried....from skin, glass, and painted surfaces.

Brent why not glue a chrome trim in the midline of you glass

To get an even seal, the correct way is to attach the nozzle. Cut it about 1/2" - 3/4" down straight across, the cut a V into the end. Upon compressing the glass home home, the sealer/adhesive will even out making a good seal. Great little video.

a full workout day , nicely done , windows are in and look awesome 👍🏼 Brent, as per the product, it cures in a day, but the application pot life is around 10 min before is starts skinning and loses the tackiness for a strong bond .

If I may make a suggestion, cut the tip of the tube a little smaller than the groove you're filling then use a multi-shape caulking tool for fine tuning. works for me and I never use tape. I do this in residential work and automotive. Looking great! Good to hear the lovely misses in the back ground

Good to see the glass in , and no fuss no muss . Taping it off leaves you with a basic finished surface which is a win win in any mans language , hope the open house goes well , you get to schmoose with folks and show off the new shop. Have a good time , you have earned it, Stuart in Ontario ..

They make guns with different ratios for urethane use. Look for guns that are green or orange with an open body that swivels. Those have a higher gearing to make it easier to trigger even when the urethane is cold. I worked for a company that made urethane and they had a fun time finding guns that worked well. Looking better every time.

Spend more then $5 on a chalking gun. This stuff makes me crazy going cheap all the time on stuff.
